Andréas Godsäter is a PhD-candidate in Peace and Development Research at the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He received his MSc in International Relations in 2004. He is currently a part-time visiting scholar at the Centre for Civil Society, University Of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and a coming visiting scholar at the Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation at the University Of Warwick, UK in 2009. His research interests include regional integration, civil society and development co-operation with a special emphasis on East and Southern Africa. Andréas Godsäter is a member of the Network of Excellence GARNET, Global Governance, Regionalisation and Regulation: The Role of the EU, funded under the European Commission’s 6th Framework Programme and active in the Jointly Executed Research Project on The Role of Non-State Actors and Civil Society in the Global Regulatory Framework.
