Angela Meyer works with the Organisation for International Dialogue and Conflict Management (IDC), a Vienna based policy research organisation. She is the coordinator of international research and cooperation projects in the field of sustainable development and development cooperation, involving research institutions in Europe, Africa and Asia. Angela Meyer has completed a PhD. in International Relations at Sciences-Po Paris and the University of Vienna on regional integration in Central Africa and its role for security and stability. She has conducted field studies in Cameroon and the Central African Republic. Her research interests include regional integration and democratisation processes in Africa, as well as development, peace and security issues, with a special focus on Central Africa.
