Jill Jensen is post-doctoral scholar with the Pennsylvania State University’s Project for Global Workers’ Rights. She holds a Ph.D. in History with expertise in the study of inter-governmental institutions. Her research focuses on comparative analysis of labor law and social policy, human rights, and international relations surrounding global labor markets and trade. Her work analyzes the history of the International Labor Organization (ILO), its attempts to formulate and monitor international labor standards, and its participation in a realm of humanitarian economic development programs.
