Shani Deepshikha is Assistant Professor of Political Science at University of Delhi. 
She is a Research Fellow at the Developing Countries Research Centre (DCRC) in University of Delhi and is also affiliated with the Transnational Institute (TNI) in Amsterdam. She is pursuing Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science, University of Delhi, on the topic “Critical Insight into Civilizational Approach: An Alternative Understanding of Post 9/11 Afghanistan”. She has done M.A. in Political Science (2005) and M. Phil. on “The Impact of Democratization on Conflict Transformation in Post-9/11 Afghanistan” (2008) from University of Delhi. Her area of interest includes Theory of International Relations, Political Theory and Indian Government and Politics.
