OLE - Otranto Legality Experience 2011
From 5th to 11th of September 2011 will be held the 2nd edition of Otranto Legality Experience (OLE), organised by Flare Network (Freedom Legality and Rights in Europe).
OLE provides an important opportunity to analyze issues regarding the relationship between organised crime and globalisation through workshops and debates held by Italian and international speakers.
The event has the aim to increase in Europe the role of civil society in fighting transnational organised crime.
The 2010 edition of OLE was attended by more than 60 speakers and more than 200 members.
OLE consists of two parts: the Summer Camp and the Forum
The Summer Camp will focus on 4 topics:
1) International organisations, 2) States, 3) Corporations, 4) Civil society
The theme of the 2011 Forum will be Illegal Economy, Mafias and Financial Globalisation
